Description
steps how I can reproduce: a) activate GPRS b) open terminal and start a ping
after some pings fsogsmd stops to respond to dbus calls and incoming calls. With the attached logs it happened after 34 pings.
Somehow it feels like that 'hang' does get triggered much slower when the FR is plugged to USB.
Logfiles are too big for trac, so I put them here: http://build.shr-project.org/tests/mrmoku/fsogsmd/fsogsmd.log http://build.shr-project.org/tests/mrmoku/fsogsmd/fsogsmd.strace http://build.shr-project.org/tests/mrmoku/fsogsmd/libgsm0710mux.log

- Summary changed from GPRS usage hangs fsogsmd to bad battery causes fsogsmd hanging
After talking to DocScrutinizer? (thanks) and retrying the fully charged Nokia battery (which works fine) it is verified that the root of this is the bad battery.
Nevertheless fsogsmd should not hang :-)

I tried an older SHR-U version with old kernel... same result. Then I tried a spare Nokia battery... and that worked better. Retried then with USB connected and that pings for an hour now (and is still pinging). Will retry with the Nokia battery when it is fully charged. Maybe the cause for this is my battery dying and calypso not working properly because of that... dunno.
