blue led geos off when detaching usb

Description
i see that since a long time now, but kinda hoped it would be solved with 5.5. once the battery is charged, the led turns from orange to blue. the moment i detach the usb cable, the led goes dark. but if i detach while the led is orange, the led turns blue.
i'm still not sure, what exactly goes on and how to debug that behaviour.

well, i experince that since along time, beginning with the default rules. anyway, i attached my rules.yaml, but keep in mind -- it happened with the default, too.

This may depend on some rules you are using. What is your setup? With SHR unstable here I can unplug the charger while the LED is orange and it goes off.
