  • Cc Thamos0815 added
  • Owner changed from mickey to jluebbe
  • Version milestone5 deleted
  • Component changed from framework/general to framework/oeventsd
  • Summary changed from shr-settings Profile->Ring volume not affecting ring volume to Ring volume does not affecting ring volume

The shr-settings dialog sets the ring- and message-volume correctly in /org/freesmartphone/Preferences/phone. I tracked the problem to the oevents subsystem of frameworkd. The file is /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/framework/subsystems/oeventsd/fso_actions.py In the Class UserActionAlert? is the Volume fetched, but i think it should be forwarded to the AudioAction? Class. Maybe it should be implemented in the org.freesmartphone.Device.Audio.PlayAudio?(...) Method itself as a parameter to give it along to the player, so that it is relative to normal main volume and not persistent or interrupting with other settings. (i don't know if the player supports such a thing, or even which one is used)

please do something, i really would like this feature and can't do much myself, since i don't know python or dbus.
