Automatically detecting if the Bluetooth has been shut off or is out of range

Description

The way that Bluetooth is currently supported it is not automatically aware if the bluetooth headset is off or currently out of range and it still tries to route GSM audio, and other audio?, to the BT headset instead of using the phone. There was a work around posted on the mailing list that may not be easily done away from the computer, depends on if you feel like dealing with the terminal and if you have the time to spend to edit the config file restarting services.

I will just comment on this, rather then opening a new ticket. There are several things making bluetooth headset usage a bit too difficult ATM:

  • changing of the bluetooth settings in default.yaml requires fso restart. seems not so convenient really - things like adding new headset, removing.. should happen on-the-fly
  • autodetection of bt headset(s) out of range/in range and setting appropriate state files, plus manual override of this (simple dbus command is good, we can incorporate it into settings)
  • more bluetooth devices should be supported

Thank you for the great work, really! Petr
