Display is turned on and off when suspending

Description
When kernel 2.6.28 is going into suspend and the Display is powered off, the Display is turned on, then the kernel prints some debugging output and turns of the Display again.
This behavior does not save power.

Just tried this by issuing the suspend command over SSH and the Display stays dark.

I think it's true only when using xscreensaver for blanking (as SHR does). In plain FSO, which uses SetBrightness? issued by oeventsd it doesn't happen.

This will get fixed in the future by using autosuspend in the one hand, which needs no button press and using the illume power menu on the other which lets you choose if you like to sleep, reboot or shutdown.
