GSM doesn't resume the phone on events

Reported by: daniel Owned by: mickey
Priority: major Milestone: milestone5
Component: framework/ogsmd Version:
Keywords: Cc: ainulindale@…

Description

With newest kernel and frameworkd usually the phone wont wake up from suspend on incoming calls/sms. I can press the power button to resume manually and it will work, but GSM doesn't seem to wake it up anymore.

Not sure if this is a kernel of frameworkd bug.

This is strange, it is working at the moment and there doesn't seem to be a pattern (visible to me yet).

  • Priority changed from blocker to major
  • Milestone changed from milestone4 to milestone5

Okay, for some reason this has gone away on my phone with the same kernel and no (obvious) changes to ogsmd.

Lowering priority and bumping to ms5 since this problem still seems to appear sporadically.

Has this happened to you again? I haven't seen this issue again.

  • Status changed from reopened to closed
  • Resolution set to upstream

This is (was) most likely a kernel problem. Please retest with recent kernel and report upstream.
