blanks while user activity goes on

upgraded my debian/fso/xfce 2008-09-07 and now the freerunner gets blank while i am tapping the screen! the cursor moves, my actions cause obvious effects (windows are moved, input is displayed) but nevertheless the screen just goes blank. pressing aux brings it back (because matchbox-keyboard is started?), but there seems to be no other means tho revive the backlight.

since only zhone seemed to be updated (apart from genuine debian packages), i think zhone interferes somehow. but even zhone itself does not honor tapping -- the screen blanks nevertheless.

seems to be a frameworkd issue -- where is the frameworkd.conf documented? mine reads [odeviced.idlenotifier] # add inut nodes to ignore for idle activity ignoreinput = 2,3,4 and i like to know what "input nodes" are meant -- /dev/input/event*? because the touchscreen should be /dev/input/event1 then -- and not affected by exclusion in frameworkd.conf, shouldn't it?
